Like the effects of low-dose anesthesia, the pungent fumes of these chemicals produce a lightheaded and hot feeling. Because of their toxicity, organic solvents can also lead to dizziness and nausea. Many heavy solvent sniffers report altered states of consciousness, complete with visual hallucinations and vivid dreamlike experiences while awake.
For many young people 鈥?especially eleven to thirteen year olds 鈥?inhalation of solvent fumes, also called ';huffing,'; is their first chemically induced high. This makes sense given that these agents are legal, cheap, and readily available around the house. This could be a version of PICA - a condition that many pregnant women get that makes them crave non-edible things like dirt, etc. You should talk to your doctor asap. Not only is the fumes dangerous for you and your baby but it could signal that you have a nutritional or hormone imbalance. You dont have that long to go before the baby arrives..... talk to your doctor, get some support and do what is the most healthy until the baby arrives.

It's almost like wearing cornrows and asking if you would look like you were trying to seem urban or african-american. Basically yes, it will seem dark and gloomy. On the other hand such bright colors as light pink and yellow will make you seem ditzy. I'd say go a neutral color or something the same as your shirt to give off a classy and elegant look. I hope i helped and didn't criticise too much.

I Know when your praying you are not, i went on Islam Q an A yet to no avail. Reason asking as i wore it once and a sister in the masjid told me if you die when your in that state something thng, i cant remember. If you know please guide me! Wa Jazakh'Allah :)

Even if you did not have the nail varnish on you are still not allowed to enter a Mosque in your period. Neither of these things allows you to perform Wudu correctly, even if no period and just wearing nail polish as your nail does not get touched with water when performing Wudu. Walikum Saalam

I'm very busy with my hands, working, cleaning, cooking, ect. I haven't been able to find any polish that will stay on my nails, it just keeps chipping off. I've even tried that special gel and it peeled off in sheets. Does anyone have any ideas? If you are that tough on your hands, maybe you should try a shift away from color to another look that won't be so noticeable when it starts to wear off - like a french manicure. That way you don't have to change your lifestyle and can still have awesome looking nails. There is a great at-home french mani-like polish - here's the link...

I normally go for bright neon colours, but i think the price plays a big part too. Obviously i'm not gonna buy the cheapest brand, as it won't be of very good quality, so i normally pay about...拢3.00 a bottle? I don't have a particular favourite brand, but Rimmel London seems quite good.
generally the nail polish i buy is $3-$6 but sometimes i buy OPI which is like $8, i don't know what you mean by packaging but my favorite colors are My Chiuauah Bites in OPI and Glamorous in Sinful Colors which is sort of a teal color. :)

I normally go for bright neon colours, but i think the price plays a big part too. Obviously i'm not gonna buy the cheapest brand, as it won't be of very good quality, so i normally pay about...拢3.00 a bottle? I don't have a particular favourite brand, but Rimmel London seems quite good.
generally the nail polish i buy is $3-$6 but sometimes i buy OPI which is like $8, i don't know what you mean by packaging but my favorite colors are My Chiuauah Bites in OPI and Glamorous in Sinful Colors which is sort of a teal color. :)

2-Paint a base coat of black nail varnish
3-Once dry , Draw a diagonal line across the nail from each corner in white , let dry.
4-Once dry fill in one side with whatever colour you like colors like red and blue go well.
5-Let Dry , for extra protection paint a coat of clear to seal the pattern ,
This design is good as it goes with everything as you can change the colours .

I have about 20 nail polishes (and intend to collect more!) ranging from OPI, Essie, China Glaze, etc. In essence, different size bottles. Where can I get a nail polish organizer, or what containers have you used to organize your nail polishes? I'm not sure about nail polisher remover, but I'm sure that there are some eco- and baby-friendly types out there.
As for non three-free polishes that are safe, I suppose that they're okay for the baby, especially if your doctor told you so, but not the best. I'd go ahead with three-free polishes just in case, because it's better to be safe.

I am not sure about the remover, but it's certainly not gonna cause major damage unless you work at a nail salon. I would suggest holding back on the manis and the pedis while you are pregnant unless some one you know or a nice (super clean) place does it because you can get a very dangerous infection from tools that are not cleaned properly ( a common practice in many salons.) You can get some good nail polish at target that is earth friendly but I would stick to a light shade. Being a mom I know that no polish lasts long enough to still look good when you finally get the chance to redo it.
PS if you do decide to do a home pedi get a pedi egg. They are inexpensive (like 8 bucks) and do an awesome job.

Three-free polishes are completely safe because they don't have the chemicals like dbp, toulene, and formaldehyde that are harmful for the baby. Brands without these chemicals include OPI, Revlon, China Glaze, Essie, Maybelline, and Lippmann, among many other in the link below.

I'm not sure about nail polisher remover, but I'm sure that there are some eco- and baby-friendly types out there.
As for non three-free polishes that are safe, I suppose that they're okay for the baby, especially if your doctor told you so, but not the best. I'd go ahead with three-free polishes just in case, because it's better to be safe.

Get a diamond dust polish. They are a bit more expensive, but they last forever. The polish doesn't chip off, and they help keep your own nails from chipping and breaking.

i have found that its not the brand of polish that works as much as the way u apply it, i have run a cash register with long nails and i found the only way to get the polish to stay on is to get a true colorless base coat,apply color coat,then a top coat making sure that u coat the tips of ur nails and get under the tips as well and i usually put 2 coats of the top coat, make sure each coat drys completely.

Yikes, nail polish remover is super harsh on your skin. Try using face wash and/or astringent. That's always worked for me.

I have worn black nail polish......and I am most definately not goth
I would have to say gothic. I know people that wear it that aren't gothic OR emo, but I you can tell if a person is goth or not. Goth's usually have black clothing and chains and stuff, and regular people have regular clothes. So, I guess that's the best way I can put it.
Goth or punk rock. Emo is an offshoot of punk, so they probably do too, but I don't talk to whiny emo kids, they annoy me.
I'm talking about when guys do it really, also some metal fans do it too.

Well, gothic and emo have a fine line separating them. I think it works for both, but I think an emo kid would have shorter black nails. That's just from what I've seen. I think the shorter ones look better anyway.

grab a bottle of acetone [nail polish remover] , and pour some on the stain. leave it here for a minute, then use a cloth and start blotting the spot... dont rub it, because it will spread. keep blotting.
If some of it remains, u may have to use strong carpet cleaner.

Organic and all natural Mommy's to be..do you use nail polish?
my former doctor told me it was fine but i don't go to them anymore because i didn't feel safe so im not going to listen to them on this lol. i know there are some safe for the environment types but is it still safe for baby. and then remover is that safe?

Three-free polishes are completely safe because they don't have the chemicals like dbp, toulene, and formaldehyde that are harmful for the baby. Brands without these chemicals include OPI, Revlon, China Glaze, Essie, Maybelline, and Lippmann, among many other in the link below.

I am not sure about the remover, but it's certainly not gonna cause major damage unless you work at a nail salon. I would suggest holding back on the manis and the pedis while you are pregnant unless some one you know or a nice (super clean) place does it because you can get a very dangerous infection from tools that are not cleaned properly ( a common practice in many salons.) You can get some good nail polish at target that is earth friendly but I would stick to a light shade. Being a mom I know that no polish lasts long enough to still look good when you finally get the chance to redo it.
PS if you do decide to do a home pedi get a pedi egg. They are inexpensive (like 8 bucks) and do an awesome job.
i think its ok while i was pregnant.. i died my hair 2 or 3 times and did my nails at the salon every 2 or 3 weeks the whole time my daughter was in the over lol........... so yes don't worry about it

i can even draw flowers and stars heart and spirals on my nail when im painting my nails its not that boring plain but i add artistic touch into it but when im on a formal date or something ofcors i just do it plain... and all of my cousins drop by to my place to do their nails and ofcors they'll askk me to do their nails and its fun...
I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THE COST OR SALES. YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO CALL AND ASK AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT SHOPS IN YOUR AREA.

Some buy full line of professional, usually more expensive brands and will retail them also. Some buy the local distributors brands for maybe $1.oo each. Many techs have a variety of brands. The expensive ones don't necissarily mean that they are any better than less expensive. All polishes contain 4 basic chemical groups that are needed for a particular purpose. The main thing to remember is always use a base coat to prevent staining and a top coat for longer wear. TIP: Hate when polish chips on natural nails within 1-2 days? Remember how hard glitter polishes are to remove? To prevent fast chipping, just prior to top coat, apply a glitter polish at least over the free edge. Then top coat over. When polish get thick, add few drops of remover or paint thinner to thin out %26amp; few drops of cuticle or castor oil to keep lubricated.

If you try using nail polish remover, you'll either melt the fibers (if they're synthetic), or just end up working the polish deeper into the rug.

I think BLOTTING nail polish remover will be your best bet. I KNOW you NEVER want to rub when cleaning your carpet. That will just make the stain smear and mess up the carpet strands.

I am really into the name brands, but I prefer quality over anything. I spent $19 on a Chanel nail polish because I fell in love with the color. Let me tell you, I am a nail polish junkie and have over 50 nail polishes! The Chanel nail polish wasn't as durable as my other polishes. It got super clumpy and even when I put some acetone in it to thin it out, it didn't work. I was a bit disappointed that the Chanel polish didn't own up to it's name and it's price. I love Essie and Opi polishes. I also really like the ULTA brand polishes. They are very durable and last longer without getting clumpy or watered down. I wouldn't buy a Chanel polish again. I always had my toe nails painted and never use bottom coats or top coats or whatever. Just plain old nail polish. I love greens and blues and well I keep it on until it comes off. I took it off this morning to put new on and I had this yellowing on the end of my big toe's nail. it starts half way up and then it gets darker on the sides and its like yellow. There is no itching or pain. What is this and how can I make it go away? Help!!!!Help with a toe issue? Yellow under nail polish?
What you have is a toenail fungus. This comes from leaving your toenail polish on too long. You should replace your toenail polish every 3 days at least (repaint your toenails) and you should always remove the previous coat of polish before applying a new coat of polish. What you need to do now is treat the fungus immediately. You will need to remove all of the polish using a nail polish remover (preferrably one that does not contain acetone). Toenail fungus can also be caused by leaving nail polish on while swimming, swimming in public swimming pools without showering, and walking barefoot around places like water parks and locker rooms. You actually should not wear nail polish on your toes at all once you develop a toenail fungus, because the polish actually traps in the germs and can make your condition worse over time.
You should see a podiatrist to get a prescription for medicated toenail polish that contains an anti fungal agent. If your fungus is already too severe, they will file down your nail, and may have to remove it all together. Generally you have to stop wearing nail polish to get rid of the fungus all together. In the meantime, you should wear closed toed shoes and stay away from places where people walk around barefoot. Also, don't share shoes with anyone, as you can spread your fungus to others.
If you do not want to or cannot see a podiatrist, you will need to purchase an over the counter remedy for your fungus problem. The best brands currently on the market for your condition are: Tineactide Antifungal Cream for Nails, Clearly Confident Antifungal Cream, and Zeta Clear Nail Fungus Remover.

And also, make sure you put nail polish on like every couple days now since you have got fungus. Because when it builds up it will ruin your toe nails. It's so disgusting! My dads is horrible. But yes, you have no worry's. Make sure you take good care of those toes. There important things, you know?! :)

I left nail polish on a little longer then I probably should have on my toe nails and when I went to take it off my one big toe was all white and looked all starched. It's almost impossible, given your situation. You could try dishwashing gloves. A dishwasher would be the best! Also, use a light shade so that when your nailpolish starts disappear it is less noticeable. At first I thought you wanted to know how to make polish stay usable longer..........store them in the fridge!!

i do a base coat with opi nail envy. my pedicure lasts for 3 weeks - no chipping - i just take it off cause im sick of the colour. always do a top coat when you finish and if you run the top coat along the edge and sort of under the tip a bit, and then paint the nail, that keeps it on longer too. but seriously the OPI nail envy is the best base coat ive ever used.

It's almost impossible, given your situation. You could try dishwashing gloves. A dishwasher would be the best! Also, use a light shade so that when your nailpolish starts disappear it is less noticeable. At first I thought you wanted to know how to make polish stay usable longer..........store them in the fridge!!
Good base coat on a properly cleaned and dry nail plate, 2 coats of color, one coat of good quality top coat.

i do a base coat with opi nail envy. my pedicure lasts for 3 weeks - no chipping - i just take it off cause im sick of the colour. always do a top coat when you finish and if you run the top coat along the edge and sort of under the tip a bit, and then paint the nail, that keeps it on longer too. but seriously the OPI nail envy is the best base coat ive ever used.

Goo Gone - you can buy it at any hardware store or even walmart!!!!! Its great to remove nailpolish, gum, ANYTHING gooey!! ( had nailpolish stuck inside a clog that was lined with white lambs wool-totally did the trick!)
i think u can use alchole not the drinking one but the one u use to put on scratches so it wont get infected
im guesssing it will work
since u can get rid of sharpiee marking wit it
i think it will work the same with nail polish
