Mosquito bites and nail polish?

I have heard that clear nail polish helps mosquito bites. I wanted to get other peoples opinion before I started pouring it on me!

I've heard of nail polish for chiggers, but not for mosquito bites... my daughter came up with the idea of putting ice on them to stop the itching. I don't know if anyone else does this or not, but it seems to work for her.
Nail polish? I wouldn't want that on my skin. Try some hydrocortisone cream. It works and is inexpensive.
