I got some clear nail polish on a black skirt that is made out of a stretch jersey material and even though the color does not show through the you can see the shininess and its hard

You can first try gently adding a drop of nail polish remover and rubbing out the nail polish. And use soap + water and a towel to rinse it out.





Or wait for it to dry and try peeling/scratching it off.

Use nail polish remover, of course!
try to use some nail polish remover and rub it with cotton wool or if that doesn't work try warm salt water and rub it with cotton wool.
soak in warm water and soap!!
