Let them breath at least one month, and rub them with Lemon, they`ll be pink, and for your cuticles dip your fingers in olive oil, it will give you an unbelievable natural shine, even more beautiful and feminine than a nail polish, and save the nail polish for the occasion, but seriously your nails need to breathe, to be nurtured, and to drink water, just like us.
Hope that helped.
Good Luck.I have long nails ,they are yellow from nail polish what can i use to get them white again i do use a base ?
ur nails are stained yellow from all of your nail polish use. I would recommend going to a salon or drugstore and ask for products that clear away the yellow tinge. Your other option is to let them grow out' to speed growth use a growth enhancing nail polish. I also stress that once the discoloration is gone, use a base to prevent future discoloration. Sally Hansen has good ones. The base is to protect your nails from discoloration caused by a nails over exposure to the sun (its what i heard). but for the future, one coat of base, two coats of polish, and then one coat of top coat.
I would use a base, that will eliminate most color.
But if you want to get the tone off, soak in one of these.
1.) lemon juice
2.) lime juice
4.) rubbing alcohol
5.) polish remover
try changing ur base use one without colour and use a buffer this helps and get manicures done once or twice a month (if you dont)
soak them in lemon juice/vineger, rinse them in water and then soak the in milk. repeat a few times and they should be back to normal
soak them in fresh lemon juice! natural, and really works x
