Lighter fluid, like gasoline, model airplane glue, paint thinner, varnish, nail polish remover, and even some types of cover-up products, are members of the organic solvent, or volatile organic compound (VOC), family. Like the effects of low-dose anesthesia, the pungent fumes of these chemicals produce a lightheaded and hot feeling. Because of their toxicity, organic solvents can also lead to dizziness and nausea. Many heavy solvent sniffers report altered states of consciousness, complete with visual hallucinations and vivid dreamlike experiences while awake.





For many young people 鈥?especially eleven to thirteen year olds 鈥?inhalation of solvent fumes, also called ';huffing,'; is their first chemically induced high. This makes sense given that these agents are legal, cheap, and readily available around the house. This could be a version of PICA - a condition that many pregnant women get that makes them crave non-edible things like dirt, etc. You should talk to your doctor asap. Not only is the fumes dangerous for you and your baby but it could signal that you have a nutritional or hormone imbalance. You dont have that long to go before the baby arrives..... talk to your doctor, get some support and do what is the most healthy until the baby arrives.

miami peach is a nice one made by chanel. you could probably look in a drugstore and find a very similar color though.

uh.. no blue.. yellow no way. Try soft pastels. They are perfect for fall and winter and look great against any skin tone. There's many new pastel tones now, greys, blues, purples, even green.

Guys typically see black as a lack of color coordination, and in theory usually only dark and gloomy people or ';emo'; people attempt to wear this style. It's almost like wearing cornrows and asking if you would look like you were trying to seem urban or african-american. Basically yes, it will seem dark and gloomy. On the other hand such bright colors as light pink and yellow will make you seem ditzy. I'd say go a neutral color or something the same as your shirt to give off a classy and elegant look. Help, my nail polish won't stay on!?

I'm very busy with my hands, working, cleaning, cooking, ect. I haven't been able to find any polish that will stay on my nails, it just keeps chipping off. I've even tried that special gel and it peeled off in sheets. Does anyone have any ideas? If you are that tough on your hands, maybe you should try a shift away from color to another look that won't be so noticeable when it starts to wear off - like a french manicure. Try putting more than one 'layer' on and then use a clear top coat to protect.
Put on more layers but in thin coats. Be sure to apply a base coat first and finish off with a clear top coat for added protection.
You should perhaps use a top coat on top of your nails. OPI makes one called Chip Skip. I usually use OPI nail polish and haven't had any problems with the nail polish chipping off.
I would suggest trying Sally Hansen's ';Hard as Nails';. You should be able to find it at your local grocery or drug store. A double coat of that on top of your polish should do the trick!
Paint several coats of clear nail polish over the colour.
Maybe it is the polish you are wearing. Or don't wear any if you have so much housework that day.
make sure u use a base %26amp; topcoat when u do your nails...that will help keep the polish on a bit longer...also, use a good brand of polish, like o.p.i...having said that, nothing really worked for me, so i just have the acrylic nails put on, because then i don`t have to worry about breaking nails, chipping polish, etc...

I normally go for bright neon colours, but i think the price plays a big part too. Obviously i'm not gonna buy the cheapest brand, as it won't be of very good quality, so i normally pay about...拢3.00 a bottle? I don't have a particular favourite brand, but Rimmel London seems quite good.
generally the nail polish i buy is $3-$6 but sometimes i buy OPI which is like $8, i don't know what you mean by packaging but my favorite colors are My Chiuauah Bites in OPI and Glamorous in Sinful Colors which is sort of a teal color. :)

I think it may be about the same price. I went to get mine done once, and they didnt have the color I wanted, so they suggested I bring my own, or go get some, but they didnt mention anything about it being cheaper.
They don't charge for the polish itself, but for the service they are doing. However, I would recommend bringing your own polish so you can get the exact colour you want and it will be more sanitary. Hope this helps!

No, same price. But I think they have crappy selections and they 'water' down theirs with acetone and so the shade isn't as good as it can be. Its best to take your own in the color you love.
I always bring my nail polish because where i go it is cheaper and sometimes they dont have the color i want... so i definitly recomend it some high end nail places will say it is the same price but a a normal place the people will usually take one to two dollars of the normal price because they are not paying for the nail polish place. also sometimes they will not use certain brands i reccomend China Glaze everywhere i have been they accept that company is that doesnt work try to go with less sparkles because it sometimes messes up their own products like the hardening clear nail polish they put over it.

You could go to walgreens or someplace like that and look at the french tip packs that they have and it will be there it's just a clear off white. I have the same one but it doesnt say a specific color it's a SALLY HANSAEN maximum growh nourishing nail color.

Try this design :


1-Paint a coat of clear nail varnish to protect the nail


2-Paint a base coat of black nail varnish


3-Once dry , Draw a diagonal line across the nail from each corner in white , let dry.


4-Once dry fill in one side with whatever colour you like colors like red and blue go well.


5-Let Dry , for extra protection paint a coat of clear to seal the pattern ,





This design is good as it goes with everything as you can change the colours .
